Seddon Begins £12m Industrial Park Project In Stockport
Seddon Construction has started work on a £12 million industrial park project in Stockport.
A ground-breaking ceremony was held earlier this week to mark the start of construction on the 145,000 sq ft Aurora Stockport scheme.
The development is being built for CBRE on an 18-acre site alongside Junction 1 of the M60 motorway. Once completed, the park is expected to create 240 new jobs.
Cllr Kate Butler said: "I am delighted to have been part of the ground breaking at Aurora Stockport celebrating the start of work. The opportunities that this development and transformation will bring are significant, not only for businesses but also for local residents, and I am excited to think about how our work will benefit so many."
Ed Wootton, North West Regional Director for Seddon, added: "We will be working closely with our local supply chain partners to create jobs and training opportunities during the project, building on our long established approach to employing apprentices."
