Countryside Reports 'Strong' Performance In Financial Results
Countryside Properties has reported a "strong" performance in its financial results despite market uncertainty due to the EU referendum.
The Group revealed completions were up 29% to 583 units between April and June, compared to 453 units during the same period last year.
In addition, its average selling price rose 7% to £348,000 during the third quarter.
Ian Sutcliffe, Countryside's Chief Executive, said despite fluctuations in the market as a result of the EU referendum, the company continues to see "robust visitor levels and sales reservations".
"Our strong product offering in good locations, together with a Partnerships business with added flexibility and resilience, positions us well to deal with any change in market dynamics," he said.
"We remain on track to deliver expectations for the current year and our strategy remains unchanged."
