Carlisle Launches New Liquid Waterproofing Range
Carlisle Construction Materials has launched a new range of fast curing PMMA waterproofing resins.
The products, which have been developed with decades of experience, are highly durable and suitable for various applications such as roofs, parking, balconies, heavy traffic and many other specialist projects.
In addition, Carlisle Liquid Waterproofing can be applied in almost any weather condition and still function perfectly, even at low temperatures or high humidity. The solution has a problem-free curing process, and each Carlisle product displays good inter-layer adhesion.
The success of Carlisle's waterproofing range is based on the following:
Speed: The reactive PMMA resins are fully cured in approximately 30 minutes, which means the individual layers are immediately ready for application of the next coat or for use. For example, a balcony can be refurbished in a single day and a ramp can be reopened to vehicle/pedestrian traffic in just a few hours.
Security: The liquid waterproofing system adapts itself perfectly to the shape of the surface, meaning it will seal complex details and up-stands to prevent water ingress and sub-surface migration. In addition, it bridges movements in the substrate.
Durability: The chemical structure of the PMMA resins are elastic, free from plasticisers and therefore robustly extensible. According to the European Technical Approval (ETA), the waterproofing systems service life is classified in the highest category (more than 25 years).
