Construction News Image
MiniTec has revealed it will be attending the Science, Technology & Innovation Exhibition on Wednesday, 28 September.

The STFC Laboratory Exhibition offers all tenant staff at SciTech Daresbury the opportunity to meet with potential new suppliers, find new technology or see new innovative ideas that could potentially help business or projects to progress.

The one day event is part of an annual programme of highly successful exhibitions held at nuclear, defence, maritime and science & technology establishments throughout the UK.

Basingstoke based MiniTec design and manufacture modular aluminium profiling systems which can be found in a wide number of applications throughout all of these Industries.

The Aluminium profiles are manufactured by the German based parent company whilst the UK operation is able to offer a full design and technical service. Assembly of the systems can take place at the Basingstoke facility or directly at the client's site with the minimum of delay thanks to extensive local stocks.

The system is used as a modular industrial construction set, helping to build machine guards, assembly lines, workstations and conveying systems to name but a few.

The Art of Simplicity

MiniTec can design your own system, whether it is a workstation for an assembly line or one off bespoke enclosures, and structures. The fabrication is very easy to put together on site and is supported by extensive component stocks from their Basingstoke facility.

At the exhibition potential customers will be able to meet the Engineers from MiniTec to discuss how this simplistic system can assist on the most complex of projects. At the heart of the MiniTec system is the unique Powerlock fastening method which requires no special tools. The use of standard fasteners reduces the cost of the product package considerably, makes assembly very easy and ensures re-usability. All that is required for assembly is a standard Allen key.
