Graham Construction has won a place on the University of Manchester's multi-million pound Construction Works Framework.
The award will allow the contractor to bid for projects as part of the University's £1 billion Campus Masterplan scheme, a decade-long investment to create a new campus by 2022.
Over the next four years, Graham will bid for contracts worth between £4m and £10m to deliver development/improvement works on new and existing University facilities. The contractor is one of three other companies chosen for Lot 4 of the framework.
The company has already delivered a range of modernisation and refurbishment project worth over £20m for the University, including works to Hulme Hall Student Residences, The Simon Building and AV Hill Building.
The framework award is the second Manchester-based win for Graham, having secured a place on Manchester Life Development Company's (MLDC) programme to deliver Phase One of a 10-year £1 billion investment to redevelop the North East Manchester neighbourhood area.
Gary Hughes, Graham's Regional Director, said: "We are proud to have been chosen as a delivery partner of choice by the University of Manchester.
"Winning a place on the Campus Masterplan framework is a significant achievement. It reinforces the strength of our specialist education offering and cements GRAHAM Construction's place at the forefront of the UK's higher education sector."
