SIG Announces New Group Finance Director
Industry supplier SIG has announced Nick Maddock as its new Group Finance Director (GFD).
Mr Maddock is currently Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at McCarthy & Stone and has held his current position since September 2011.
Previously, he has worked as Finance Director for Centrica, as Financial Controller at British Gas, and as a Director in Mergers and Acquisitions at ING Barings. He also trained as a chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser at Ernst & Young.
Mr Maddock will take over from current GFD Doug Robertson, who is retiring from the company. Precise dates will be announced once determined.
Stuart Mitchell, Group Chief Executive of SIG, said: "We are pleased to announce that Doug will be succeeded by Nick Maddock who brings with him a strong track record as a CFO and has played a key role in McCarthy & Stone's success. We look forward to welcoming Nick to SIG."
