A new £400 million contractor framework has been unveiled by NE Procurement.

A total of 18 companies have secured a place on the four-year programme, including Mears Group, Keepmoat Regeneration, Mitie Property Services and Wates Living Space.

The framework will cover three main areas of a social landlord's remit; investment works, responsive repair & maintenance and specialist services which includes scaffolding, flooring, glazing and fencing.


It was developed in partnership with other NE Procurement members to ensure it meets the needs of those using it and other attracted national/regional contracting organisations. In addition, it is available for social landlords and wider public sector organisations to use.

Chief executive of NE Procurement, Rod Brasington, said: "We spent a lot of time working with our partners when creating the framework to ensure it created innovative procurement options, whilst still being straightforward to implement and use.

"The framework tender process was thorough and has resulted in quality contractors, who all have a track record for high-quality delivery, securing places on the framework."
