Morgan Sindall Secures Major Infrastructure Deals
Morgan Sindall has secured a number of infrastructure deals worth around £750 million.
At Heathrow Airport, the company has received an extension to cover the Airport's full five-year framework term with an additional year, taking the contract through to 2020. The firm was one of four partners originally appointed to deliver a £3 billion programme of upgrades and improvements in 2014.
In addition, Sellafield Ltd has awarded Morgan Sindall's joint venture (JV) with Arup a five-year extension of its Infrastructure Strategic Alliance (ISA) contract.
The ISA is responsible for a £1.1bn contract to provide essential infrastructure assets to the Sellafield site.
Elsewhere, the firm's JV with BeMo Tunnelling has secured a place on London Underground’s 'Future Stations' Civils and Tunnelling Works framework. The eight-year programme is estimated to be worth £350m.
John Morgan, Chief Executive of Morgan Sindall Group, said: "Morgan Sindall Group has a strong track record in complex infrastructure projects and we see further growth opportunities in this area. We are delighted to be involved in delivering these exciting schemes and the awards evidence the good momentum we are seeing across our business."
