WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff has been appointed to help deliver the '3 Arena Central' development in Birmingham.
The consultancy will provide a range of multi-disciplinary services for Arena Central Development as the developer aims to build the third building of the city centre scheme.
Designed by architects Make, '3 Arena Central' will consist of a 14-storey 240,000 sq ft office development. Features include a fully fitted reception at ground floor and retail or restaurant provision of circa 3,148 sq ft. In addition, it has been designed to maximise space for tenants, with floorplates of up to 17,957 sq ft around an offset core.
WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff's appointment will see the company provide services such as structural engineering, geo-environmental investigation, demolition, traffic and transportation, civil/drainage, rail asset approval, acoustics and fire.

Overall, the nine-acre Arena Central site has outline planning consent in place for the delivery of over 1 million sq ft of high quality commercial space and ancillary retail and leisure uses.
