LNT Continues Work On 66-Bed Northamptonshire Care Home
LNT Care Developments is continuing work to build a new 66-bed care home in Northamptonshire.
The construction of Timken Grange in Duston is due to finish in December 2017. Once complete, features will include a cinema, library, garden room and tea shop, surrounded by landscaped gardens.
LNT also revealed it has successfully sold the scheme to Oakdale Care Group.
The company has a pipeline of over 20 sites across the UK with nine currently under construction
Christine Cooper, Project Director at LNT, said: "We are delighted to be building another fantastic facility for Oakdale Care Group and are very much looking forward to working with them to create a superb asset for the local community in Duston. Our sites are now selling at ever earlier stages. With the growing pressures on the local authority funded social care system growing, the need for care home environments which will attract the self-funding resident is becoming clearer."
Andrew Long, Managing Director at Oakdale, added: "We are delighted with this location and have been warmly received by the Parish Council through the planning process. We hope to build on this relationship through engagement with the local community and create a genuinely warm and vibrant setting for later life care."
