Alpha BSE has unveiled details of its F-gas foundation training and competence assessment workshop.

F-gas Certification, Training And Professional Development One Stop Shop

It is a legal requirement in Great Britain for all operatives and engineers who install, maintain or service stationary refrigeration, air-conditioning or heat-pump (RAC) equipment that contains or is designed to contain "F gas" refrigerants to hold a F-Gas Certificate issued by an appointed certification body.

Alpha BSE Training offers the F-gas foundation training and competence assessment under one roof. The training is carried out in a friendly environment that the learners will have plenty opportunities to get their hands on, learn and enhance their skills. This City & Guilds approved course will provide the knowledge and experience necessary for the engineer to operate in the industry and most importantly this qualification doesn't require renewal.

Highlight some of the course practical units

• Pipe manipulation and brazing to IOR standard

• Repair and Servicing of refrigeration units

• Strength and Pressure testing

• Evacuation of systems to BSEN378

• Charging fluorinated refrigerants
