Plans Approved To Build Fourth Stratford Office Building

Lendlease has secured planning permission to build a new major office building in London.

The company will work alongside LCR to develop a fourth office building at International Quarter London (IQL) in Stratford.

Designed by architects Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, the 10-storey development will feature 280,000 sq ft of new workspace.

Jonathan Emery, Managing Director Property, Europe for Lendlease, said: "Momentum is truly building at International Quarter London and achieving planning permission for our S9 building is another exciting step forward for the development.


David Joy, Chief Executive at LCR, said: "We're pleased to have achieved approval for our fourth commercial building. 2017 has already seen us celebrate the topping out of the Financial Conduct Authority's new headquarters and we look forward to hitting more major milestones this year.

International Quarter London is a £2.4 billion joint venture development between Lendlease and LCR.

Once completed, the project will feature four million sq ft of Grade 'A' office space, 333 new homes and community facilities.
