Stewart Milne Appoints New North West Construction Director

Stewart Milne Group has appointed Haresh Murji as its new construction director in the North West of England.

Having joined the company nine years ago as a Senior Site Manager, Mr Murji worked as Senior Construction Manager for the North West division prior to his promotion.

In his new role, Mr Murji will be responsible for controlling all building operations, health and safely and customer satisfaction, as well as leading on staff development and retention.

Speaking on his appointment, Mr Murji said: "Stewart Milne Homes is a business with a commitment to investing in people and places, which shows in the quality of the homes we build and the customer care we provide.

"Over the next 12 months our focus will continue to be on quality, safety and our customers. The North West is a key growth area for the company and we are seeing significant investment from the group in this area."

Paul Challinor, Managing Director North West, Stewart Milne Homes said: "Haresh has been a valued member of the Stewart Milne Group for nine years, playing a significant role in our growth in the North West.

"He will bring a wealth of experience in the construction sector to his new role, as well as drive forward our core Group values which focus on quality homes and a customer centric approach to building and selling houses."

The appointment comes as Stewart Milne begins a period of growth in the North West. The company has seen volumes of new home completions in the region double last year from 134 to 275, with plans to grow the division beyond 500 units by 2020.
