Work On Multi-Million Pound Cambridge Office Development Complete
Work on a multi-million pound office development in Cambridge is now complete.
The One the Square scheme was delivered by Wates and has now been handed over to developer Brookgate.
Designed by architecture firm Perkins+Will, features include 129,295 sq ft of Grade A office space as well as 13,379 sq ft of retail provision, as well as sitting alongside Abellio Greater Anglia's work to redesign Cambridge railway station.
Ian Vickers, Managing Director for Wates Construction Home Counties, said: "The handover of a project to a client is always a celebrated achievement, but we are particularly proud of everything that we have delivered at One the Square and to have played such a central role in the changing commercial landscape in Cambridge.
"Key to this project has been our close partnership working with Brookgate and Abellio Greater Anglia to carefully manage what has been a very constrained site. The result is an exceptional new office of the size and specification that will really set the bar for new commercial developments across the city."
