Sweco Secures Spot On £2.9bn CCS Consultancy Framework
Sweco has won a space on the £2.9 billion Crown Commercial Service (CCS) consultancy framework.
The company has been appointed on two lots (Lot 5 and 6) of the two-year programme, which provides building, asset design and management services focused on improving value for the public sector.
The Project Management & Full Design Team Services Framework is the first part of a complete service provision within CCS. It is supported by a number of other frameworks, including Estates Professional Services, Facilities Management Services, Building Materials, Furniture and Energy Services. In addition, the initiative will be instrumental in the delivery of a number of major government construction and infrastructure projects.
Overall, Sweco will provide a wide range of civil, structural and building engineering services, as well as environmental services as part of its appointment.
The framework will assist public bodies deliver the £163bn of construction projects planned by the Government as part of its Government Construction Strategy 2016-2020.
Geoffrey Palmer, Sweco's director of buildings, said: "We are very pleased to be named as part of this landmark CCS framework following its expansion to incorporate provision to procure environmental services.
