More Than 470 New Homes To Be Built In Ealing
More than 470 new homes are to be built in Ealing, London.
Ealing Council has selected Galliford Try Partnerships to lead the redevelopment of its headquarter building Perceval House, which will see 471 new homes built alongside council offices and other community facilities.
Designed by architecture firm Farrells, the scheme is worth an estimated £275 million and construction work is scheduled to begin by September 2018. Completion is set for 2025.
Council Leader Julian Bell said: "We are pleased to have picked Galliford Try Partnerships as our partner for this important development. Our offices are in a key town-centre location, but at the moment we aren't making the best use of this important site.
"The exciting innovative proposal will deliver modern council headquarters, much needed affordable homes, and a brand new customer service centre and library."
Stephen Teagle, Chief Executive of Galliford Try Partnerships, added: "We are delighted to be working with Ealing Council on this fantastic regeneration project in the heart of Ealing. Our business has a strong track-record in mixed use developments across London and we look forward to working with the Council and our other partners to create high-quality homes and facilities for the local community.
"We will also be working closely with Galliford Try's Building business which has extensive experience in the office sector, thereby bringing together all of the necessary expertise to deliver this landmark scheme."
