Galliford Try Secures Work On £1bn YORcivil2 Frameworks

Galliford Try has secured a place on a four-year civil engineering framework worth over £1 billion.

The YORcivil2 frameworks cover general civil engineering works across the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Galliford Try has been appointed on four lots in the North & East area consisting of works in value bands up to £4 million and in the 'over £10m' band, as well as coastal works. The company was also appointed for the South & West area, however it was not chosen to deliver coastal works.

Works featured in the secured lots will include highways, bridges and structures, public realm and flood alleviation projects. All public sector bodies will be able to use the frameworks with some areas of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and the north-east also covered under the deal.

Bob Gibbon, Managing Director of Galliford Try's Highways business unit, said: "We're delighted for the opportunity to build on the success of our involvement in the original YORcivil framework. Our appointment will make it easier for a wide range of clients to draw on our expertise and diverse range of services."
