Morgan Sindall has been selected to build a new £16.7 million college sports and teaching facility in Cambridge.

The project will be carried out at Bottisham Village College and involves expanding the school's current facilities including a new teaching block featuring 22 new classrooms, an auditorium, reception and dining area.

In addition, Morgan Sindall will remodel the college's original building to increase its student capacity by widening corridors and expanding the car parking facilities and bus bays.


A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire County Council said: "We are delighted to be working in partnership with the Anglian Learning Trust and Morgan Sindall to deliver these much needed facilities at Bottisham Village College."

Bob Ensch, area director at Morgan Sindall, said: "We are delighted to be delivering this significant expansion to Bottisham Village College, which will transform the college's teaching and sports facilities.
