Be Living Appoints New Strategic Consultant
Willmott Dixon's residential company, Be Living, has appointed Brendon Walsh as a strategic consultant.
Having previously worked as the London Borough of Hounslow's director of regeneration, economic development and environment, Mr Walsh will help Be Living expand its private sale and build-to-rent portfolio.
Over the last 16 years, M Walsh has helped deliver a number of schemes across west London and South Oxfordshire including includes mixed-use town centre developments such as The Orchard Centre in Didcot, Dickens Yard in Ealing, Acton Town Hall, Brentford Football Club (picture below) and phase 2 of Hounslow Town Centre.
He has also been pivotal in commissioning master plans that have led to significant investment into the Golden Mile on the A4 and around Heathrow Airport.
Be Living's Deputy chief executive, Andrew Telfer, said: "Brendon is a brilliant addition to our team, bringing an impressive track record of taking major developments from concept stage through to reality. Brendon's insight in getting complex, multi-phase regenerations through planning and onto site will be invaluable, helping us turn brownfield sites into thriving new communities.
"His breadth of knowledge of housing and unlocking opportunities, alongside that of Ric Blakeway, gives us high-level input to take forward our plans to create new communities that allow thousands of people to buy and rent a Be home across London."
