33 Firms Secure Place On £8bn School Construction Framework
More than 30 contractors have secured a place on the Education & Skills Funding Agency's (ESFA) new £8 billion framework.
The four-year programme is divided across 22 regional lots and will support the delivery of the ESFA school building programmes, as well as being available for schools and local authorities to use for their own projects.
Nigel Brook, Executive Director of construction and infrastructure services at Kier, which has been awarded a number of places on the framework, said: "We're extremely pleased to have been appointed to the Education and Skills Funding Agency's new construction framework. We delivered over £700m of projects through the previous framework and are looking forward to working with education providers to deliver vital schemes over the next four years."
