G F Tomlinson Appointed To Three Public Sector Frameworks
G F Tomlinson has been appointed to three major public sector frameworks in England.
The contractor has secured a space on the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) Construction Framework, as well as Scape's Regional Construction framework and Staffordshire County Council's Construction Projects Framework.
The ESFA programme will see G F Tomlinson deliver projects with a value between £4.5 million to £12m in the West Midlands, and between £1m - £4.5m in the East Midlands. It is the second time the company has been selected for the specialist education framework, having previously delivered more than £38m of projects and created over 2,700 new school places in the East of England.
Elsewhere, the contractor will deliver projects between £500,000 - £2.5m under Scape's Regional Construction framework. Schemes will be carried out across Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire over a four-year period.
The new framework will provide public sector organisations and local authorities with high quality and cost-effective services from approved contractors. The Regional Construction framework replaces the empa framework which saw G F Tomlinson deliver more than 340 projects over eight years.
The new appointments follows the contractors earlier success in securing a place on the Staffordshire County Council's Construction Projects Framework, which will deliver public sector schemes between £2.5m to £9m, including schools, sports centres, care facilities and civic buildings. The framework can be used by several other local authorities in the region.
Andy Sewards, Managing Director at G F Tomlinson, said: "We're proud to have been appointed to these three prestigious frameworks, which will see us maintain relationships in the East Midlands whilst expanding our reach into the West Midlands and beyond.
"Our successful appointments on the three frameworks is testament to the high standard of work we deliver and our commitment to deliver real social value to local communities.”
