KPMG Appoints New UK Head Of Infrastructure, Building And Construction Practice
KPMG has appointed a new head to its UK infrastructure, building and construction practice.
Mr Jonathan White, who is currently a Deal Advisory partner specialising in infrastructure transactions, will lead 500 sector-focused colleagues based in offices across the UK. He succeeds Richard Threlfall, who was appointed KPMG's global head of infrastructure earlier this year.
KPMG's infrastructure, building and construction team is one of the leading practices in the UK, advising clients ranging from FTSE 350-listed contractors to privately-held construction firms and infrastructure investors.
White, who is primarily based in London, has been with KPMG for over 20 years. His broad experience includes transport, energy, utility and public sector infrastructure, providing advice on mergers and acquisitions, divestments, financing, strategic reviews and joint ventures.
Mr White: "I'm enormously proud to be taking on this position and building on Richard’s brilliant work in growing our infrastructure, building and construction practice.
"This is a fascinating time for our sector. The UK economy is in the midst of being reshaped by Brexit, creating both opportunities and challenges for businesses. Meanwhile, areas like devolution, the impact of technology on the future of our cities and tackling the nation’s housing crisis are the subject of intense national debate.
"My job is to ensure our industry leading team continues to provide clients with the insight and guidance to make sense of this new environment so they can invest in the infrastructure that underpins the UK economy."
