CIH Starts Searching For Next Vice President
The Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) has started hunting for its next Vice President (VP).
Nominations for the position are now open and any member of the organisation can put themselves forward before the closing date at 5pm on 08 June.
The successful candidate will replace current VP Jim Strang, who will step up to the role of President when Alison Inman leaves the role in September.
After being shortlisted, CIH's membership will vote in July on their preferred candidate before the winner is announced in August.
Terrie Alafat CBE, Chief Executive of CIH, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the passion and experience to help drive housing's professional body forward at this crucial time.
"The winning candidate will serve as Jim’s vice president and put themselves on a direct route to becoming our president in September 2019. We’re really excited to see who comes forward for this crucial leadership role for CIH and for the housing sector and I would encourage anyone who is interested to have a look at the details or contact us for more information."
