£12m Blackpool Hotel Renovation Complete

Work on a £12 million hotel renovation project in Blackpool is now complete.

The new Hampton by Hilton hotel, located on New South Promenade, will open at the end of May following the multi-million pound investment by owners Create Group.

Designed by Tim Groom Architects, the scheme involved redeveloping the once derelict Palm Beach and Bourne Hotel site by creating 130 new rooms along with a fitness centre and work-zone,

complete with views of the seafront.Gill Mathison, director of Create Developments Blackpool, said: "We're delighted to be able to confirm our opening at the end of this month, with an official launch party in June.

"The new hotel will play a pivotal role in bringing additional revenue and tourism to the resort over a busy summer ahead."
