ENGIE has appointed Paul Clarke as its new Regional Director in the West Midlands.
With over 30 years' experience in the construction sector, Mr Clarke joins the company's new Places & Communities Division from Stepnell, where he was part of the Senior Management team for the West Midlands unit. He also previously worked as a Director at Bouygues UK, playing a significant role in securing and maintaining major frameworks and partnerships.
In his new role, Mr Clarke will be tasked with maximising the new offering to expand business in the region, looking to build on existing relationships, while exploring new business opportunities.
The Places & Communities Division combines the strengths of ENGIE's expertise in facilities management for schools and hospitals and district energy schemes with its construction and regeneration activities.
Speaking about his new role, Mr Clarke said: "I'm joining ENGIE at a really exciting time for the company and its staff. The business model is incredibly strong and these sectors we have brought together as part of Places & Communities have put us in the enviable position of providing a full-service offering, which will naturally unlock further opportunities for growth. I'm looking forward to working with the ENGIE team and supply chain to grow our presence and service offerings across the West Midlands."
Martin Smithurst, Regional Managing Director for ENGIE's Places & Communities Division, said: "Paul is a fantastic addition to our West Midlands team and we are delighted to welcome him to the business. The region has gone from strength to strength under Dave's leadership and Paul will be instrumental in keeping up that momentum as we branch into new sectors."
