Keepmoat To Start Work On £16m Normanby Housing Scheme
More than 100 new homes are to be built in Normanby, Teeside.
Keepmoat Homes has been appointed to deliver the £16 million 105-home scheme at High Farm and work will get underway in the next few months on site, which has been purchased by Keepmoat from the Collins Family.
The scheme follows on from Keepmoat's £30m development at The Closes in Redcar, where the company has built 300 new homes.
The first homes are scheduled to be ready to be available to move into at the beginning of 2019.
Ian Prescott, Land & Partnerships Director at Keepmoat Homes in the North East, said: "It has been a delight to work in partnership with the Collins family to make this happen. We're proud at Keepmoat to offer high quality, beautiful homes at prices people can afford and we are excited to now be bringing this to Normanby."
Sharon Thomas, Director of new homes at Thirteen Housing Group, which will take ownership of seven of the homes, said: "We're pleased to be working alongside Keepmoat and partners to offer affordable homes for rent and buy in part with shared ownership on this fantastic development in Normanby.
"It's in an ideal location, close to shops and other great facilities, and these new homes will transform the neighbourhood by creating a lovely place where families and people of all ages want to live.
"It has something for everyone, and we're proud to be part of this exceptional development."
