Simons Group Appoints New Logistics Director
Lincoln-based engineering company Simons Group has appointed a new Logistics Director.
Rob O'Brien will join the company to lead its logistics sector in September.
As a former Operations Director at McLaren Construction, Mr O'Brien has a wealth of industry experience having worked on projects such as the construction of the Stadium MK, Milton Keynes and the London 2012 Olympics Handball Arena. Before joining McLaren, he spent over four years in Australia working on major schemes such as Elizabeth Quay in Perth.
Tom Robinson, Simons' Chief Executive, said: "Rob brings a wealth of experience to Simons, particularly his knowledge of distribution and logistics projects. We're looking forward to September when he'll join the team and help drive further successes within this important sector."
