Keller Successfully Completes Health & Safety Audits
Keller UK has said that it is "delighted" to have successfully completed its recent audit for several important health, safety and environmental standards.
The company has been recertified for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 and has migrated from OHSAS18001 to ISO45001:2018.
It also completed its certification for Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) at the same time.
• ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) provides a framework to improve employee safety, reduce workplace risks and create better, safer working conditions in companies.
• ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems) is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.
• ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) standard provides practical systems for companies to manage their environmental responsibilities.
The recertification follows a rigorous 11-week audit process undertaken by LRQA where all areas of the business were examined and several working sites visited.
Simon Jones, HSEQ Manager for North West Europe, said: "The UK business is the first Keller business to complete migration to the new standard. Many thanks to all the staff and clients who facilitated the audit process."
Bob Thompson, Managing Director of Keller UK, added: "Well done to everyone who worked so hard to achieve this. This certification is essential for the health and wellbeing of Keller UK."
