McHale Plant Sales Introduces New Komatsu Excavator
McHale Plant Sales has introduced Komatsu's new PW118MR-11 midi wheeled excavator.
Driven by a powerful EU Stage IV compliant 72,5 kW (97,2 HP) @ 2.050 rpm engine, the PW118MR-11 combines power, control and convenient dimensions to complete simple excavating tasks. It is also ideal for heavy-duty lifting applications in cramped streets, narrow laneways, on-road and sewer-construction work.
Its vital statistics include 13,800kg weight (operating weight 12.800 kg to 13.900 kg), 2-piece offset boom, outriggers and blade, with 4-wheel drive and dash-mounted quick-change switching between 2-wheel steering, 4-wheel steering and Crab action modes and activation/deactivation of auto axle lock mechanism.
Other features include:
• 'Attachment Economy' mode that also helps lower fuel consumption and emissions
• A choice of up to six working modes
• All-new cruise control function for on-road travel
• Revised hydraulic layout that improves speed and acceleration on flat ground and slopes.
An advanced electronic control system also manages airflow rate, fuel injection, combustion parameters and after-treatment functions, while an integrated SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system reduces NOx emissions.
Operator features include a Bluetooth connected radio, with pre-sets and USB input, and two 12-volt power ports. An enhanced high-resolution 7" widescreen colour monitor displays information in 25 languages for global support, with information on fluid levels, eco guidance, operational records, fuel consumption and utilisation data.
