Häfele Launches New Ambient Lighting Range

Construction News Image
International hardware company Häfele has launched a new range of luxury ambient lighting solutions with an array of decorative features.

Pendant lighting is ideal for bringing creativity into designs or providing a striking centrepiece that complements the subtler lighting features of a room.

It can be used in both business and domestic settings to foster a connection between areas in an open plan space, or add definition to a single room.

A product highlight from the new range is the Shard 10 Arm/20 LED Ceiling Pendant, perfect for creating an eye-catching feature. Its organic crystal shards, designed to resemble icicles, are finished in polished chrome or gold and held by a vertically adjustable decorative chain.

As well as the new decorative launches, the firm offers a range of lighting solutions to fulfil all requirements and help out any client as they plan for one of the hardest elements of interior design.

With solutions for task, ambient and accent needs, Häfele provides an extensive range of LED, fluorescent, halogen and pendant lighting options, perfect for those in the market to redesign their home lighting or illuminate business premises.

The firm's own brand - Loox lighting range, comes with a seven year guarantee.

The Loox LED systems offer a high level of design flexibility and are incredibly easy to use. With a simple, modular plug-and-play system, it enables easy customisation and a range of various applications.

Loox Lighting Simulation Tool

The Look Lighting Simulation Tool developed by Häfele showcases a range of lighting layouts which demonstrate how different solutions can be used to the best effect. It also gives an idea of how different colour temperatures, as well as different background colours and finishes, alter the overall look of the room.

Task lighting

Task lighting provides a localised light source designed to maximise visibility, practicality and safety. It is ideal for areas which need localised lighting, such as a cooking space or a showcase, to highlight decorative features.

Task lighting product highlights:

Häfele's Loox LED 3039 can be mounted into cabinets to cast targeted illumination on worktops, providing practical lighting for the cooking areas. Available in a polished chrome-plated, silver coloured or stainless-steel coloured finish, it comes with a dimming function and light scenario memory to maximise both flexibility and functionality.

Also, on offer is the Loox LED 2034 flexible light, which comes with a USB charging station and can be surface mounted on bedside tables or sideboards to provide a targeted reading light. This dimmable light with integrated push switch, is available in a stylish black, matt silver or chrome-plated finish to complement any bedroom colour scheme.

Ambient lighting

Ambient lighting is used to illuminate a whole room setting and should provide a comfortable level of brightness without glare. Incorporating additional features, such as dimmer switches, allows for different moods to be created.

Ambient lighting product highlights:

The Häfele Jewel 3 Bar Light Pendant, part of the new pendant lighting range, is the perfect ambient lighting solution. Finished in polished chrome and complemented by a diamond dust effect diffuser, its beautiful and versatile design is great for providing practical illumination, as well as making a stylish design statement. The pendant features a bar ceiling plate with thin suspension wires holding three vertically adjustable, dimmable pendants with integrated LEDs.

Accent lighting

Häfele's range of accent lighting can be used to add character to rooms or highlight specific features, such as a piece of art or a mirror.

Accent lighting product highlights:

Designed specifically for bathroom mirrors, the Loox Compatible LED Pulse brings dimmable functionality to surface mounted illumination. It is fully compatible with the Loox 12V system of drivers and switches, meaning customers can conveniently use the same driver for their task and accent lighting.

In addition, the Loox LED 2037 Glass Edge Extrusion is perfect for illuminating glass shelves in cupboards or cabinets to make a feature of the contents displayed. The product is simply snap-fitted over the glass edge and is available in a choice of two colour temperatures (cool white 4000 K and warm white 3000 K).

Häfele collaborates with clients to develop the perfect lighting scheme. We also offer bespoke solutions; please contact one of our highly experienced Projects team members on 0800 171 2907 or emailing info@hafele.co.uk.
