Mears Group has been placed at 25 on this year's Sunday Times Best Big Companies to Work For list.

The list, which recognises employee satisfaction and workplace engagement, also placed the construction firm in the 'Ones to Watch' category, recognising its promising signs for the future. 



David Miles, Mears Group CEO, said: "I am incredibly proud that we have been recognised as one the 25 Best Big Companies to work for. The accreditation is based on feedback from you, and I'm over the moon that, on the whole, the sentiment is so positive.


"I recognise we still face challenges. As we grow, it becomes more difficult to make sure we're effectively communicating and engaging with each other across the business. So, this accreditation marks the start of our journey rather than the end. It helps us to identify where we are good and where we need to improve and we will be putting a plan in place to make sure we continue do so.
