Student accommodation space has increased in Southampton with the delivery of a new 435-bed development.

Morgan Sindall completed the Vita Student complex in Portswood as part of an overall scheme which involved extensive communal areas. These included a tiered cinema room, private dining room, a 24/7 accessible gym and a games area.

Portswood House features fully self-contained studios with high quality kitchen and ensuite facilities. The building is split into three tiered buildings and features four main room types; deluxe, premium, classic and lite, as well as an 'accessible room' which is a studio adapted to meet needs and requirements of the user.

Portswood House has created hundreds of new high-quality bedrooms which have raised the standard for student living in Southampton, creating a stunning home for students to live, study and socialise all under one roof."
