Kier Brings Suite Of Smart Technology To New Homes
Kier Living is set to offer a extensive range of smart technology to homebuyers with a full suite of Nest products and Google Home Hub.
Customers will be given the chance to have the smart home system installed in their new home before they move in, with buyers benefitting from a lower price than the high street.
Google Home and Nest products allow residents to control them via their smartphones or voice. The optional features will range across measures to improve energy efficiency, fire safety and security – including the Nest Learning Thermostat, Nest Protect Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm and Nest Hello video doorbell.
The company initiative was rolled out on 01 April at Oakthorpe in Peterborough and is commencing across further sites before being launched nationwide.
Kier sales advisors, fully trained by Nest experts, will be on hand at each of the sites to ensure buyers make the most of the technology.
John Anderson, executive director for Kier Living, said: "As a business, we always strive to offer a first-class service for our customers – and this is an exciting example of us being able to give them the next generation of performance for their new home.
