Gilcrest Manufacturing has appointed James Meylan as the Sales & Marketing Director of Puracore, the specialist cleanroom manufacturer.

Meylan joins Puracore with a wealth of experience as a Sales Director with his last post at a UK-based panel manufacturer, for seven years. In this role, he gained experience and expertise in the composite panel field, leading a growing sales team and selling in over 50 countries across the globe.

In his new role at Puracore, Meylan will lead the business' sales strategy while managing the continual development of Puracore's sales and marketing function.


He will oversee the targeted specification of Puracore Cleanrooms globally and provide existing partners with project opportunities.

Commenting on his appointment, Meylan said: "I was actively seeking a new challenge within the manufacturing sector, which would enable me to use my full expertise in this industry and allow me to work for a market leader. The exciting and ever-growing marketplace alongside working with industry leading end users makes the cleanroom market perfect for me."

Meylan is originally from Switzerland and now based in the UK, supporting clients, developing projects and seeking new business worldwide. His European background, dual language skills and vast experience have become hugely beneficial in developing new relationships and partnerships within the cleanroom market worldwide.
