MGL Demolition Acquires McCloskey J45 Jaw Crusher From Agg Pro
Founded in 1972 by current chairman Alan Davison as a family owned, civil engineering and construction company, MGL Group has grown extensively over the past 47 years branching into a group of companies which collectively employ over 450 people, inclusive of 30 apprentices.
MGL Group provides a complete construction solution to include demolition, site clearance, recycling, earthworks, civil engineering, surfacing and construction.
From the Head Office in Durham along with asphalt plants located in Newburn, Newcastle and Barton, Scotch Corner, MGL Demolition are perfectly placed to cover the North East of England with the means to cover other parts of the country where needed. In addition to their all-encompassing company divisions, MGL Group maintain their own construction and demolition plant also operating a fleet of 42 wagons.
With a requirement to update current machinery and increase efficiency, MGL were keen to discuss their needs with Agg Pro's, Tom Elgin. Having a long-term working relationship with Agg Pro they were confident they would receive great service and accurate information to help them make the right decision for their business needs.
Mark Davison, Managing Director of MGL Demolition, chose the McCloskey J45 as it has a pre-screening system and the ability to increase production levels of aggregate products. Mark commented: "Following a two day trial, our team were impressed with the McCloskey J45. Since we have been using it in our recycling facility at Newburn, the increased levels of productivity combined with the reliability of the machine have left us in no doubt that we have made the right choice."
Predominantly, the new McCloskey J45 will be used at the Tynedale Reclamation recycling facility at Newburn as well as MGL Demolition sites across the North of England.
Company Director, Gillian Reader, was on hand on the day of arrival to receive the new addition to their ever-increasing machinery portfolio and was proud to have it branded with the MGL Demolition logo.
She said: "Agg Pro are delighted to provide their wealth of knowledge and excellent customer service to another happy customer!"
