Mace Champions LGBT+ Diversity Programme
Mace has thrown its support behind a programme which ensures all LGBT+ employees are accepted in the workplace.
The firm joins more than 750 organisations on the Stonewall Diversity Champion programme.
Membership of the programme will enable Mace to assess progress on LGBT+ equality through Stonewall's benchmarking tool, the Workplace Equality Index. This will involve Mace working with Stonewall to review policies and processes across the organisation to ensure that they are LGBT+ inclusive.
Dennis Hone, Mace's Chief Financial Officer and board sponsor for Pride at Mace, said: "It is hugely important for Mace to be a place where people thrive and meet their full potential and where different ideas and perspectives are valued and rewarded. Joining Stonewall is another step towards us becoming an industry leader in diversity, equality and inclusion – and one that I'm very proud to support."
