Atkins Strengthens Development Arm With New Appointment
Global consultancy Atkins has strengthened its development arm MetroHome with a new appointment.
Nick Towe joins MetroHome as Commercial Director following a stint at Morgan Sindall Investments, where he played a key role in forming the Morgan Sindall HB Villages joint venture, rolling out their supported living, extra care and social housing development businesses.
He brings 30 years' experience in the property and development industry to the new role, having held other positions as Land Director and Managing Director for some of the biggest names in UK residential development.
Mark Powell, Managing Director, MetroHome, said: "Nick's appointment is significant as we continue to build the capacity of our development arm, MetroHome, in the UK. Nick will play a key role in building strategy and process, with a focus on growth and partnership agreements, funding, commercial risk and project appraisal."
On his appointment, Nick added: "MetroHome is an innovative way to address the housing shortage we have in the UK, and I look forward to help drive the roll out of this offering that aims to enhance communities and improve people's lives."
