Minster Surfacing MD Wins Innovation Award
Managing Director of Minster Surfacing, Bruce Spencer-Knott has been recognised for innovation at this year's Institute of Directors East Midlands awards.
Mr Spencer-Knott was named Director of the Year 2019 for Innovation at the ceremony, recognising his outstanding commitment to creativity and new ways of working.
The Institute of Directors East Midlands award ceremony celebrates businesses and business leaders from across Greater Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
Bruce Spencer-Knott, said: "I'm absolutely delighted to have won this award, it's been a fantastic day and I'd like to thank the judges and everybody at the Institute of Directors.
"Although it's my name on the trophy, this is a big achievement for our whole team. We work hard at Minster to carry out our work in a safe and environmentally friendly way so I'm honoured to receive this award in recognition of our efforts. Attending this event also reminds you of just how much talent and creativity there is in the East Midlands with so many other excellent companies and inspiring leaders in the room.
"This year, Minster turns 20 and it's shaping up to be another great year for the business as work on some of our biggest projects yet. We have lots of exciting plans for the coming months and I couldn't be happier with this award."
Bruce will now go through to the national finals on 18 October.
