AB Heritage Celebrates 10 Years Providing Heritage Solutions
AB Heritage Ltd, a professional archaeological consultancy, is set to mark 10 years in business this July.
The firm has built an impressive portfolio of project work, supporting clients to manage heritage as part of successful developments that includes housebuilding; energy generation; commercial; education and important national infrastructure schemes.
Principal Heritage Consultant, Daniel Dodds manages the professional team and puts the company's success down to AB Heritage's extensive experience in the industry, that goes beyond its 10 years, and its honest and friendly approach to clients. He believes that protecting the UK's important heritage assets doesn't necessarily lead to project delays and unseen costs, particularly if the client engages early in the lifecycle of a project.
"We fully understand the commercial pressures developers face daily. AB Heritage services support all stages of a project life – from feasibility studies on land yet to be purchased for development, right through to designing and managing field works on site. Our heritage assessments to respond to planning requirements cover archaeology and built heritage, green field and brown field developments. Our team's knowledge and professional skills across this range, allows us to find innovative ways to help reduce the impact of heritage and achieve necessary planning consents in a timely fashion. We can't recommend strongly enough for developers to factor in consideration of the historic environment at the outset and speak to a professionally accredited heritage consultant like AB Heritage."
All products and services offered by AB Heritage meet the stringent guidelines and standards set down by the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA) and AB Heritage Consultants hold professional qualifications and are individually accredited by CIfA.
Andy Buckley, MD of AB Heritage said: "Archaeology as a discipline within the planning system will always evolve, and we will be at the forefront of helping manage those changes on the behalf of our clients. One thing that will never change will be our commitment to our loyal customers, to be the friendly, professional and responsive service you can rely on."
AB Heritage was incorporated in 2009, initially setting up in Somerset, and now has consultants based across the UK and offices in London, Newcastle and Bristol. Call our national customer service number for an informal discussion of your scheme, or email info@abheritage.co.uk.
