Sir Edward Lister Extends Stay At Homes England

Sir Edward Lister is set to extend his stay at Homes England after being reappointed as Chair for another term.

This follows a previous three-year term as Chair of the agency. He will now serve for a further three years.

Announcing the reappointment, Communities Secretary Rt Hon James Brokenshire MP said: "This government is committed to delivering 300,000 homes a year to ensure everyone across the country has access to a decent, affordable, secure place to call home.

"Sir Edward has brought his experience, influence and thoughtfulness to bear in helping us to bring real change to the housing market, and so I am delighted to reappoint him as Chair of Homes England."

Sir Edward Lister added: "Homes England has set out an ambitious mission to respond to the housing challenges across England and I am proud to have been reappointed as its Chairman.

"I look forward to continuing this work with colleagues across the business and with the wider housing sector, big and small, to deliver the homes this country needs."
