Alan Lovell Named New Interserve Chairman

Interserve has appointed experienced executive Alan Lovell as its new Chairman.

Alan brings a host of expertise to the new role, working across the construction and energy sectors, at Tamar Energy, Infinis, Jarvis, and Costain Group, and four years as National Chair of the Consumer Council for Water. He has also held key board roles as Chairman of Safestyle UK and the Senior Independent Director of SIG plc.

He succeeds Glyn Barker, who has stepped down after leading Interserve since March 2016.

Debbie White, Chief Executive Officer, Interserve Group Limited, said: "On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Glyn for his service as Chairman of Interserve. His leadership of the Board and valuable counsel has been vital during a period of significant challenge and change for the Group.
