Kier Wins Place On £200m Construction Framework
Kier has secured a place on Hampshire County Council's £200 million Intermediate Construction Framework (ICF).
The firm has been named in the lot for projects valued up to £1m, covering extensions, refurbishments and alterations to existing schools and other public buildings across Hampshire, Berkshire and the Isle of Wight.
Construction only projects under the framework will be allocated to framework partners on rotation, with design and build projects subject to a competitive bid process between partners.
Commenting on the award, Jonathan Payne, managing director of Kier Regional Building Southern said: "We are delighted to have been appointed on the renewal of the ICF Framework.
"I am extremely proud of the team's performance during the previous period, having delivered a number of successful projects and we look forward to continuing our work with our partners to deliver much needed improvements to buildings across the region."
Kier enjoyed success on the previous framework, completing a number of key works projects for schools and public buildings across Hampshire including at St James CE Primary School, Southampton and The Romsey School.
The new framework begins in June 2019.
