A leading independent plant hire company in South East England has enjoyed a day at one of the region's premier farming shows recently.
Rhinos Plant Hire, which rents out heavy and small plant to customers across Essex and beyond, visited the Essex Young Farmers Show at Boyton Hall close to Chelmsford.
The event, which took place on Sunday 19th May, was a great success.
The Essex Young Farmers Show is designed to be a family-friendly event and a traditional agricultural show all in one.
In addition to trade stands from firms such as Rhinos Plant Hire, the event also contained an equine area, a livestock tent and a food hall for sampling and purchasing locally produced items.
Children under the age of 15 were able to attend for free, and there were also refreshment options – such as a bar run by the Young Farmers group – available.
The team at Rhinos Plant Hire were proud to participate in this event, which saw well over 15,000 people in attendance.
Rhinos took one of its Kubota mini-diggers to the family-oriented event, and attendees participated in a "digger challenge".
The company organised the challenge as part of a structured day of activities in a dedicated area of the event site.
The challenge, which was monitored and operated in a safe environment, saw attendees attempt to use the digger to stack a group of tyres on top of each other without them falling down.
This year marked the first time that Rhinos Plant Hire attended the event, which took place at the agricultural estate in Roxwell, a village outside of Chelmsford.
Steven Shelford, Managing Director at Rhinos Plant Hire, said: "We were very pleased to participate in this event, which is rightly a fixture of the young farming calendar in Essex.
"At Rhinos we cater to professionals in all sorts of sectors, including agriculture. It was a real pleasure for our team to meet so many people of all ages at this event, and for our team to talk to them about our heavy plant and what it can achieve.
"As a business rooted in the Essex community, we are happy to participate in events like this and to get the word out there about our services."
Rhinos Plant Hire was founded in 2002, and has since evolved into one of the major independent plant hire companies in the region.
It offers a range of products for hire, including dumpers, diggers, bowsers, skidsteers, pneumatically-powered handheld tools and many more.
Its products come from a variety of high-profile and respected manufacturers, including Kubota and Atlas Copco.
