Robertson Construction Appointed To NWCH Framework
Robertson Construction has been appointed to the North West Construction Hub's (NWCH) Medium Value Framework, covering projects from £2million to £5m.
The NWCH was established in 2009 in response to Central Government's drive to improve efficiencies within the public sector and since then has delivered 374 projects with a value in excess of £1.8bn, for 101 clients.
Dirk Pittaway, managing director of Robertson North West, said: "Being appointed to this framework has been a key goal for the business, and we are delighted with the result.
"Our appointment reflects the momentum we are seeing as a business in the North West, and the exceptional work our teams do in building our reputation for excellence across the region. By securing a position on each of the lots of the framework, we will be able to offer construction solutions across Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, and Cheshire. This opportunity to work in partnership with framework members is ideal for our business which has sustainability and community at the heart of all we do."
The NWCH Frameworks offers a platform for like-minded organisations to come together to do business collaboratively. The Hub focuses on achieving best value for its clients and projects through transparent and sustainable procurement, creating long-term relationships between clients, professionals and contractors with shared objectives and common core values. Led by a Board comprising of representatives from public sector organisations across the North West, the legal entity behind NWCH is Manchester City Council.
The next generation of the framework will deliver projects from 2019 to 2023.
Key projects completed by Robertson North West recently include the Strawberry Field Training Centre in Liverpool and the second phase of the Vision Tameside regeneration project in Ashton-Under-Lyne.
