Milestone Reclaim & Landscaping Ltd Launches New-Look Website
Milestone Reclaim and Landscaping, based in Grays, Essex, has established itself as a quality supplier of landscaping products to both domestic and trade customers in recent years. Keen to cement its reputation and update its web presence, the firm has launched a new-look online shop, complete with an improved navigation menu and a much more user-friendly ordering process.
Director Matt Coussens talks us through some of the changes that have recently been made to his ecommerce platform to enhance his customers' experience of the business.
"It was important to our development team that we retain the structure and navigation experience of our previous site so that our loyal customers don't feel alienated by the new design," he explained.
"That said, we have given the entire template something of a facelift. Our banners are bolder, our products are more prominent, and we've made good use of white space to give the aesthetics a much more contemporary feel."
The website ensures that customers can easily browse Milestone's large range of landscaping products from the comfort of their own home. The company supplies all manner of materials, including natural stone paving slabs, topsoil, bark, aggregates, de-icing salts and ethically sourced reclaimed setts and cobbles – and all these goods can be ordered and paid for online.
But by breaking down pack sizes and including accurate delivery costs in the display price, Matt and his web team have ensured that the ordering process is much more transparent than before.
"By entering their postcode into our new delivery calculation tool, customers will be given a final shipping fee within a matter of seconds, so they can compare costs quickly and easily. All the prices on our website are also inclusive of VAT, so customers will never have to do the maths themselves!"
Matt is confident that the new platform will be a hit with new and returning shoppers alike.
"We're very proud of what we have created, and we're looking forward to receiving feedback on the new design from the people who matter the most to us – our customers," he said. "We're especially pleased that we can now offer tips, tricks and insights via our blog, which we will be updating regularly. We suggest that customers follow us on Facebook and Twitter to receive links to our latest articles as soon as they are published."
