A state-of-the-art imaging centre is set to be built Royal Brompton Hospital in London.

Kier has been selected to deliver the project through the ProCure22 (P22) framework.

When complete, the new centre will provide state-of-the-art diagnostic facilities for patients, and enable the delivery of a number of innovative treatments, including interventional bronchoscopy. It will be spread across four storeys, with the two lower levels underground and including essential plant and services for the building and MRI scanners. The ground and first floors will have a range of facilities, including; echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiogram, CT scanners and clinical support accommodation.


The first floor will also have a bridge link between the imaging centre and Sydney and Chelsea Wings, allowing in-patient and staff to move between buildings and clinical departments through a convenient, secure route.

The project is due to complete in summer 2021.
