Landlord Grainger has launched a new residential development 10 minutes from Sheffield city centre and the first development in the city built and designed specifically for renters.
Brook Place includes 237 modern new homes, with a mix of spacious studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments now available to rent. Residents will enjoy the benefits of an onsite service team as well as access to a range of amenities at no extra cost.
Each apartment has a selection of stylish furnishing options available and fully integrated appliances.
Residents will also benefit from storage and Wi-Fi (100mbps) and will be able to keep fit at the 24-hour gym or work from home in the co-working space. Events such as cooking classes will be hosted in the experience kitchen, which features professional kitchen equipment including a pizza oven. For the more relaxed, there's a choice of a residents' lounge, with custom-designed furniture for ample flexibility and a games corner with foosball table or a choice of three roof terraces and a podium garden to chill out and unwind.
Grainger will provide onsite management that are always on hand to help residents, while the concierge desk means no mail or parcel will go unsigned for. Bicycle storage, underground car parking and a bookable handyman are all available too. Grainger is also offering a 'stay as long as you want' contract, with tenancies of up to three years available.
Residents will be able to choose from two themed interior styles when they move in, with colour palettes inspired by the nearby Peak District. The 'mineral' option features cool blue and grey tones referencing the compounds found in stone, while warm copper hues and deep reds are incorporated in the second theme aptly called ‘earth’. Residents who choose a longer tenancy will be able to paint and decorate their apartment, adding a personal touch to their new home which is often not possible in traditional renting.
Helen Gordon, Chief Executive at Grainger plc, said: "We're delighted to launch our first development in Sheffield. With the convenience of a professional management team, a range of onsite amenities and super-fast broadband all included within the rent, Brook Place provides hassle-free, good value renting, within easy reach of Sheffield city centre."
