BPMA Announces Two New Members

The British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA) has continued to expand its memberships with two new additions.

The organisation represents the business interests of UK and Irish suppliers of liquid pumps and related pumping equipment across the domestic and international arena.

Stafford-based Altecnic Ltd is the latest to join the organisation. Founded in 1987, and now part of the Caleffi Group, the company manufactures and supplies an extensive range of plumbing and heating components as well as heat interface units. It serves the needs of trade merchants, original equipment manufacturers, plumbing and heating engineers and specifiers across the UK and Ireland.

Packaged Pump Systems Ltd has also recognised the range of benefits available to all BPMA members. PPS (as they are more commonly known) are pump station manufacturers and installation/service specialists for the domestic basement market and the light commercial building services/facilities management sector.

Combining over 25 years' experience in the submersible pump industry, PPS work alongside contractors, architects, engineers and domestic customers throughout the UK. Its team of highly trained field pump engineers are complemented by an in-house dedicated customer support team, who provide aftersales services to over 3,000 property owners primarily located in London and the home counties.

Commenting on these latest additions to the membership list, Steve Schofield, Director and Chief Executive of the BPMA said: "I am thrilled to welcome these two companies into the BPMA and afford them all of the support services at our disposal. Their diverse product and service offering, dovetails nicely with that of other members, and we look forward to a developing strong and mutually rewarding relationships with each of them over the coming months."
