Hull Equipment Supplier Names Contractor For New Head Office
Hull-based safety equipment supplier Arco Limited has appointed a contractor to deliver its new head office.
PDR Construction will deliver the new offices that will see Arco move from their existing head office on Waverley Street across to the old Hull Fruit Market area, which has undergone significant transformation in recent years.
Hull City Council granted the developer, Wykeland Beal, planning permission for this phase of the regeneration in early 2019. Included in this phase will be the new Arco head office as well as a 350 space multi-storey car park and 3,000sqft of retail/leisure space.
Paul Dransfield, Managing Director of PDR Construction, said: "PDR are genuinely delighted to have been entrusted to deliver what will be a true landmark building in Hull. We have worked very closely with Arco/Wykeland and the project delivery team to ensure none of the stunning features within the design have been diluted, whilst recognising our client's overall project budget.
"This contract award will mean that PDR will have constructed almost 200,000 sq/ft of office space in Hull over the last five years, all of which is now occupied and mostly by Hull based companies."
