Buckingham Group Names New Commercial Director

Former Galliford Try director Richard Plant has landed a new senior role at Buckingham Group.

Richard has been named Buckingham's Group Commercial Director after experience holding similar roles at Galliford Try, Skanska UK and Birse Construction.

In his new role, Richard will be developing the consistency and effectiveness of the company's commercial systems and undertaking a directing and supporting role with each of the Divisional Commercial Directors. He will also serve as a Company Director and an integral member of the Executive Board.

Chief Executive Mike Kempley commented: "The growing scale of the business and of the contracts we undertake brings with it increased commercial challenges and risks, along with an expansion of our commercial management teams. We are delighted to be welcoming Richard into the Business.
